Discontinuation of Imprint and Texprint Applications
We regret to announce that, effective immediately, Rhino Asphalt Solutions Ltd will no longer be accepting orders to install Imprint or Texprint for the foreseeable future. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand it may impact some of your planned projects.
Initially developed to enhance traffic calming features such as table tops and raised junctions with a decorative ‘block-paving’ effect, Imprint provided a visually appealing delineator for drivers. Its ability to eliminate the maintenance challenges associated with individual blocks and bricks made it a preferred choice for many applications. However, the expectations and demands on the product have evolved significantly over the 25 years we’ve been applying it.
Despite its benefits, the labour-intensive, hand-applied nature of Imprint and Texprint has not kept pace with modern expectations, particularly on large-scale, high-profile projects. As scrutiny and stakeholder demands have increased, it has become increasingly difficult to consistently achieve the desired finish, compromising the product's integrity and our commitment to delivering quality results.
Larger projects are necessary for the financial viability of Imprint and Texprint applications, but the growing challenges of meeting aesthetic and performance expectations have made this unsustainable. Continuing would risk further disappointment and undermine our longstanding customer relationships—something we are not willing to do.
We deeply regret any inconvenience this decision may cause, especially for those projects already in the design phase. However, we believe it is in the best interest of our clients and our commitment to excellence to discontinue these applications rather than deliver results that fall short of your expectations.
